Idea Funnel
The Idea Funnel is used here as a symbol for a Freudenberg group wide network to collect ideas, of which only a few will achieve market success.
Whether an idea or concept can actually be implemented significantly depends on whether “its time has come”. Employees who are full of enthusiasm for their idea or concept understandably react with disappointment if no consideration of their suggestion is made initially. Yet even such ideas are not “lost”, because development approaches are documented and retained in the NBD unit until the time “is ripe” for this technology, service or product.
