New Business Development
The New Business Development (NBD) department as part of the Freudenberg New Technologies KG is contributing to strengthen the overall innovation performance of the Freudenberg Group.
Objective of the NBD department is the identification and development of new markets and business opportunities on the basis of Freudenberg technologies and know-how / expertise.
To do this, a campaign process has been set up that will help ideas originating from inside and outside of Freudenberg to be collected and evaluated in the best possible way. In doing so, structures and processes already present in the Business Groups shall be used.
Backbones are the Business Unit Scouts named by each Business Group being part of a network and acting as interface to idea generators in Freudenberg Business Groups.
Promising business ideas on the verge of or outside the focus of Freudenberg’s Business Groups’ activities will be identified and implemented using a New Business Development process.
